Putting the Astro Pi together

Well I put the Astro Pi together and followed the instructions from the Raspberry Pi website for setting up the Raspberry Pi and Astro Pi.

Here’s what came with it.  I was a little concerned to see the screws and spacers rolling around inside an anti-static bag with the Astro Pi board though.

I must say that the team at Raspberry Pi have done a fantastic job putting this package together.  The instructions were easy to follow, when setting up the Astro Pi and my software download/install went really well.

I was mightily impressed with the range of demo programs that had been written and the fantastic range of commands available from the Astro Pi library.  I will have to see if I can put up some video of the software working.
